* Another 2012 Grand Slam winner has left the competition: USA’s Olivia Culpo, elected Miss Universe last December, ranked 19th. Although competing at home, Olivia was never a favorite for the crown. She did not look her best when elected, yet, we cannot deny Miss Universe’s facial beauty and brains. But then again, here she’s judged for what she presented when competing.

* Renae Ayris, Miss Australia Universe, is Miss Grand Slam Oceania 2012. Congratulations!

* Among our Top 10 finalists, 3 come from the Americas, 2 from Asia, 2 from Europe, 2 from Africa and 1 from Oceania. Indeed there was beauty on all corners of the planet in 2012!

* Miss World and Miss Universe have 4 Top 10 finalists each, followed by Miss Supranational with 2. Miss International is out of the competition. Its best ranked beauty, Sri Lanka’s Madusha Rushani Mayadunne, finished in 15th place.
